Now you can collect stamps at Bossier businesses and enter for a chance to win some really great prizes! As part of Bossier Parish’s 175th anniversary celebration, the Bossier Parish Library History Center and the Bossier Chamber of Commerce have partnered to put on a Bossier Business Scavenger Hunt.
Bossier Chamber of Commerce President Lisa Johnson says this is a great way for residents to explore the city.
“We want the residents of our region to discover all of the great businesses in Bossier that have helped our parish grow and continue to grow,” Johnson said. “We at the Chamber welcome people to come to Bossier to live, work, learn and play! This is a great way for our existing residents to make use of living, working and playing in Bossier and win a prize while doing it!”
In just two days, resident David Hill has ridden his motorcycle across Bossier Parish to get his 15 stamps.
“I want to learn about the parish I live in and learn about new places,” Hill said about his journey. “I’m finding new places I never knew existed. And I had a banging good lunch today at Wooden Spoon. I never knew that place existed!”
But he’s not stopping at 15. Hill said he plans to visit all 34 locations on the Bossier Business Scavenger Hunt.
