Party Gras Bal – 90s Mardi Gras Party

Join Hemingway West as they host Party Gras with a ’90s theme. Special performances by local DJ/Emcee Jay Whatley, The Hollow Decks and The Chee-Weez. Dress in your favorite ’90s style to support local nonprofits: The Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, Louisiana Association for the Blind and the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana. Tickets start at $55 or you can reserve a table for $1,000.

12th Night Hosted by The Krewe of Centaur

It’s the kick-off party for the Mardi Gras season! Hosted by the Krewe of Centaur, this event encourages partygoers to dress in their favorite costume from past Mardi Gras or casual Mardi Gras attire. The theme is “turn back time” and will also feature live music by Chinatown. Tickets are $50 and include an open bar.

Home Products Show

It’s a weekend featuring the greatest and latest in home innovative products and design. Homeowners and business owners, this is one of the best shows in the region to gather ideas and meet vendors in the home product industry. Tickets are $7 for general admission and $5 for military. Children 10 and younger will get free admission.

When: 5-8 p.m. on Jan. 11-13

Pet Fashion Show

Have a pet that is sure to be the cutest competitor? Enter him or her into the Pet Fashion Show, hosted by Flying Heart Pub and Brewing. Or if you are just an animal lover, be sure to attend this fun event featuring pets of all breeds as they dress up for the show. A $5 donation to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana will get you entered in to a door prize drawing.

Ark-La-Tex Antique Festival

Antique collectors of all ages won’t want to miss one of the largest antique shows to hit the Ark-La-Tex. Shop 30K square feet of merchandise from antique dealers across the country. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children. This shopping experience will be fun for the whole family to find one-of-a-kind pieces.

Islamic Art Class with Artist Hina Chaudhry

Learn how to produce an acrylic painting step by step with dhikr, a devotional act in the Islamic culture. World renowned and award-winning artist Hina Chaudhry will teach this class for all experience levels. Tickets are $35 and include all materials. Class is open to children 10 and older.

Winter Jam

Get ready to jam in all the winter season fun you can imagine for one big event. Hosted by WT Lewis Elementary, the night features a festival complete with food trucks, performances, face painting and the Bulldog Marketplace. Tickets are $15.

An R-Rated Magic Show

The R-Rated Magic Show is back again for a night featuring two performances. Watch as comedy magician Grant Freeman brings an event full of shocking, yet compelling stunts and tricks to the East Bank Theatre. Tickets are $15. Show is not suitable for children.

Krewe of Barkus and Meoux Jazz Brunch

This year, the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux will follow a steampunk theme titled, “Steampunk Pups and Futuristic Felines”. Purchase tickets now for their annual Jazz Brunch featuring a live DJ, cash bar and a costume contest. Non-member tickets are $55 and member tickets are $50.
