These Bossier Businesses Will Help With All Your Back-to-School Shopping!

The back-to-school season is among us! This means that teachers, guardians, and students are all on the hunt for everything needed for a successful school year.

Tips for Back-to-School Shopping

As a child, the excitement I felt during back-to-school season was like no other. Years later, as an educator, I get those same feelings as a new school year approaches. I love shopping for back-to-school clothes, cute school accessories, and the perfect backpack for the year! Here are a few tips and local businesses to make your back-to-school shopping as easy as 1,2,3!

  1. Make a list of the things needed
  2. Look for deals and sales
  3. Set a budget

Busy Bea’s Boutique is located at 1907 Benton Road Suite 700 and is your headquarters for all things embroidery! This adorable boutique specializes in embroidered backpacks, lunch boxes, polos, and more. Embroidered backpacks and lunchboxes have become popular with school-age children. Nothing is more exciting than getting a new backpack or lunch box in your favorite color and then adding that extra personal touch. Busy Bea’s Boutique has you covered as your local embroidery headquarters.

Give Me 3

Give Me 3 is a beautiful gift boutique located at 2850 Douglas Drive Suite D. It is owned by Tracey Barringer. This business offers a large selection of items for students and teachers. When I entered the store I was shocked at the number of items offered. You will have to check out the store for yourself to see the wall-to-wall items available!

Give Me 3 offers all of the things that teachers love such as desk accessories, bags, tumblers, personalized stationery, and teacher-themed gifts.

For students, Give Me 3 provides many things to get students excited for back to school. Some of the things offered are trendy backpacks, fun pencils, notebooks, lunchboxes, and a plethora of other items.

Give Me 3 is known for its first-day-of-school Boujee Balloons and custom signs. These balloons and signs can be used to celebrate the start of a new school year. What better way to capture the memory of back to school than with a Boujee Balloon or custom sign?

Bossier Parents Favorites

I sat down with Bossier Parish parent Christine Owens and she let me in on some of her favorite places to shop for back to school. She mentioned Give Me 3 and Give Me a Sign. She says these places have some of the cutest school items she has ever seen and the owners are very professional and quick with their turnaround time. Christine is looking forward to all things senior year and 8th grade year with her two daughters who are Bossier Parish students. She is also excited about her baby boy entering third grade at his new school.

Cheers to a new school year in Bossier Parish. Happy shopping!
