From exciting community events to cool indoor activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. This summer is shaping up to be full of memories and smiles. Here are some things to do in Bossier City this summer with the kiddos!

Barksdale Art Fest

On July 7, from 4–8 p.m., Barksdale Air Force Base will host its first-ever Barksdale Art Fest, a community event open to the public! Held in the large field behind the main base housing at 201 Langley Drive, Barksdale AFB, LA 71110, the festival promises fun for the whole family. Guests can enjoy an art show, live artist demonstrations, crafting tables, food trucks, bouncy houses, and a variety of local vendors.

Altitude Trampoline Park

At 2917 Douglas Drive, you can jump to new heights this summer with Altitude’s exciting summer specials, like their daily unlimited jumps for $17.99 and their summer pass for $79.99, which allows 3 hours of jump per day! These great deals are the perfect way to keep your jumper active, energized, and cool all season long.

Jessica Frank, a Bossier parent, is a big fan of Altitude Trampoline Park’s Summer Pass and what it offers her daughter, Harleigh Frank.

“This is the second year we bought the Summer Pass for Harleigh,” she said. “It keeps her body active and she is meeting new friends.”

Frank explained how they balance learning and play during the summer months.

“We work on keeping our school skills sharpened and then head to the trampoline park 3x a week,” she said.

For her family, Altitude offers more than just fun, it supports health and social connection.

“Altitude helps keep Harleigh’s body strong. She also gets to hang out with kids her age,” Frank said.

When asked if she would recommend it, she didn’t hesitate.

“YES! It’s a fun activity indoors on hot days. The Summer Pass pays for itself by the end of summer.”

Harleigh Frank is spending her summer making new friends and staying active at Altitude Trampoline Park. She encourages other kids to check it out, too.
