Shreveport Blues Festival

The 18th Annual Shreveport Blues Festival combines Soul and Blues through storytelling, grooves, and vibes with artists including King George, Tucka, West Love, Marcellus TheSinger, Young Guy, Pokey Bear, Breeze MrDo2Much, EJ Jones, and is hosted by Henry Welch.

Bossier City Farmers Market Opening Day

The Bossier City Farmers Market is opening for its 2026 season with a special event featuring more than 80 vendors selling homemade goods such as sauces, breads, art, and more unique items. 

When: April 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Great Golden Egg Hunt

The biggest Easter egg hunt in Bossier is here with real cash hidden in eggs up to $1,500. Two chances to hunt will be held — the first at all Johnson’s Furniture locations at 3 p.m. and the second at Landers in Bossier City at 5 p.m. Landers will host food trucks from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the events will feature cash prizes, tons of eggs, and fun for all ages. Get your family and friends together, ready to hunt, because the eggs will go fast!

When: April 4 at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Cypress Easter Run

The Cypress Easter Run features a 5k, 10k, and a fun run on a safe, mostly shaded course through the neighborhood of Woodlake South. Starting and ending at the Cypress 316 Fieldhouse, all proceeds from the race will go to support the Spain Missions Team at Cypress. Whether you’re a runner, walker, or just looking to enjoy the day, there’s something for everyone.

Egg Fest

EggFest 2026 is a free, family-friendly event held on the Pentecostals of Bossier City church campus. Featuring more than 12,000 eggs, for those who need a break or aren’t the hunting type, you can enjoy food, sno cones, Easter Basket raffles, and inflatables. 

When: April 4 at noon

EGGstravaganza

The Easter Eggstravaganza at Freedom Fields is a free community event and the signature Easter event for families across northwest Louisiana. Bring your baskets and friends because there are Easter Egg Hunts for every age group with more than 40,000 eggs to be discovered. There are also inflatables, face painting, animals, Easter crafts, food trucks, and more!

When: April 4 from 10 a.m. to noon

Cody Johnson in concert

Cody Johnson, or “CoJo,” is the poster child for modern country with his background as a professional bull rider and a prison supervisor in Texas, giving him an authenticity that makes him one of the biggest names in the genre, having major hits and multiple Country Music Association awards

Anime Town Louisiana

AnimeTown Louisiana returns to Bossier City with a family-friendly weekend of everything to do with Anime. You can indulge in pop culture, gaming, cosplay, and meet and greets with your favorite voice actors from Dragonball Z, My Hero Academia, Kaiju no. 8, and more.

Stephen Wilson Jr. in concert

All the hard-hitting, fast-paced arena football action returns with the Rouxgaroux taking over the Brookshires Grocery Arena this season. Enjoy live music, fan contests, and family-friendly entertainment as they face off against the Dallas Bulls and Waco Tornadoes.

Frank Foster in concert

A former Louisiana oilfield worker, Frank Foster, built a massive following after a viral video of him playing on an offshore rig.
