Charlotte’s Classy Closet Celebrates 3 Years of Making Bossier More Stylish

For three years, Charlotte’s Classy Closet has been more than just a boutique in Bossier City; it has been a place where women can find confidence, encouragement, and personalized style. Built on faith, perseverance, and a passion for helping others, owner Charlotte Huston has created a business that continues to make a lasting impact in the community.
Reaching the three-year milestone is something Huston says fills her with gratitude and excitement.
“It is definitely a fabulous feeling to know that God is prospering this God-given dream of helping women look and feel better about themselves, and I am glad that I never gave up in the hard times,” she said.
Huston explained that the inspiration behind opening the boutique came during a challenging season in her career. After changes in leadership at her former workplace left her feeling frustrated, she felt called toward something greater.
“God spoke to me and said I have something much better for you, and He showed me a dream of using my knowledge to help women look and feel better about themselves,” she said.
Rooted in Community, Built on Service
What makes Charlotte’s Classy Closet stand out is the strong connection it has built with the community.
“My strong roots in the community stem from the fact that I was born and raised in Shreveport/Bossier,” she said.
She also credits the boutique’s success to exceptional customer service and genuine care for every customer.
“Our love for our customers and helping them find clothes that make them feel beautiful results in confidence,” she added.
Beyond fashion, the boutique also gives back through donations to local charities and churches.
Some of Charlotte’s favorite memories over the last three years have come from the women she has met along the way.
“Women across all races and age differences tell me they love what we have in our store, that they feel comfortable shopping here, and they love the personalized service,” she said.
“One lady came in looking for a blingy outfit for Nashville. She came back later and told us, ‘Well, I out-blinged the bling in Nashville,’” Huston said.
For Huston, the most meaningful moments have come through encouraging women beyond fashion. She reflected on a powerful moment when a woman entered the boutique feeling overwhelmed while raising her grandchildren and carrying emotional burdens. After praying with her, Charlotte said the woman left renewed.
“She said, ‘Wow, I feel like I’ve been to therapy,’ and we hollered out, ‘That’s Jesus!”
Celebrating Three Years of Style and Success
To celebrate the boutique’s third anniversary, Charlotte’s Classy Closet offered free giveaways, grab bags, gift certificates, and major sales throughout the store.
“We had a lot of free giveaways and specials throughout the store, with markdowns as low as $2.95,” she said.
Shoppers can expect more than just clothing when they visit the boutique. Customer service remains the foundation of the business.
“You will never find us flipping through our cell phones. When you walk through the door, you are our number one priority,” she said.
Along with that service, customers can shop a variety of merchandise, including casual and dressy clothing, plus sizes, jewelry, purses, belts, hats, bath products, loungewear, and bold statement pieces.
Looking ahead, Charlotte’s Classy Closet has big goals for the future.
“I want to be more involved in the community, especially with our younger generation,” she said.
She hopes to one day offer guidance to young people on professional attire for interviews, participate in more local markets and shows, and expand the boutique’s website to reach a larger audience.
A Vision Fueled by Faith and Gratitude
As Charlotte’s Classy Closet celebrates this milestone, Charlotte remains thankful for those who have supported her journey.
“Even though God gave me this vision, I would not be here without my fabulous clients and customers, and we appreciate you more than you know,” she said.
With faith, service, and community at its core, Charlotte’s Classy Closet continues to be more than a boutique; it’s a place where women can feel beautiful, confident, and cared for.
