Get Lost in Retail Therapy: Discover The Rabbit Hole in Bossier City

There’s a new shopping destination in Bossier City, and it’s inviting shoppers to get lost in a little retail therapy! From vintage treasures and antiques to boutique clothing, unique gifts, and everyday finds, The Rabbit Hole of Bossier City offers a shopping experience where you never know what you might discover. With four local women behind the business and approximately 40 vendors, this new shop is bringing a unique shopping experience to the Bossier community.

Four Women, One Vision

The Rabbit Hole is owned by Janie Stork, Shawn Inman, Carla Bagwell, and Charlotte Stanford, four women who share a passion for shopping, creativity, and supporting their community.

After operating vendor booths in various businesses throughout Shreveport, Bossier, and Minden, the women decided to create a space of their own.

With all four living nearby, Bossier City was the natural choice. When they discovered their current building, they knew it was the perfect fit, offering a beautiful space with room for future growth.

Even choosing the business’s name became an adventure!

With four different personalities brainstorming ideas, the owners found themselves bouncing from one possibility to another before landing on something that perfectly captured the shopping experience.

“Shopping’s like going down a rabbit hole,” Carla Bagwell, one of the owners, said during the naming discussion.

That simple idea sparked the name The Rabbit Hole Get Lost in Retail Therapy.

Much like the name suggests, shoppers can stumble upon childhood memories, current trends, and unexpected treasures all in one visit.

A Little Something for Everyone

The owners’ biggest goal is to create a shopping experience that appeals to all ages and interests.

“We want vintage items, antique items. We want new items. We want to meet the needs of all age groups as well,” Stork said.

With approximately 40 vendors contributing merchandise, shoppers can browse everything from collectibles and home décor to trendy toys and boutique-style clothing. Even the youngest shoppers can join in on the fun! From baby clothing to the latest craze of colorful squishies, there’s plenty for little ones to discover. In fact, the owners jokingly mentioned that The Rabbit Hole could become Bossier’s go-to squishy store!

The shop also features name-brand clothing at reduced prices, with sizes ranging from extra small to 3X.

And one of its biggest selling points? New merchandise arrives daily!

As Stork explained, the variety comes not only from the four owners but also from vendors bringing in merchandise that reflects their individual interests and styles.

Beyond affordable prices, the owners emphasize personalized customer service. They even maintain customer wish lists, helping locate specific items shoppers are searching for.

The shopping experience also extends beyond the storefront. Co-owner Shawn Inman highlighted the shop’s active social media presence, where owners and vendors regularly showcase merchandise on Facebook.

“If they see something they want, they say, ‘I want.’ We pull it to the back, and then the next day they can come pick it up,” Inman explained.

Interested in becoming a vendor? Although spaces are currently full, The Rabbit Hole maintains a waiting list and encourages prospective vendors to stop by and share their information as future expansion is considered.

Christmas Open House: November 7–8,2026

The Rabbit Hole is getting into the holiday spirit with its Christmas Open House on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days!

“Shoppers can expect Christmas decorations, seasonal merchandise, and plenty of gift ideas throughout the store,” Stork said.

And there’s a little surprise waiting for lucky shoppers!

The owners will hide carrots throughout the store for customers to discover. Find one, bring it to the front counter, and reveal a special surprise, which could include a percentage discount, dollar-amount savings, or a gift item.

“You just never know what you might get,” Stork shared.

It’s the perfect opportunity to kick off holiday shopping while supporting a locally owned business.

More Than Just a Shopping Trip

For the four women behind The Rabbit Hole, creating a welcoming atmosphere is just as important as offering great merchandise.

“We’re a fun group. We like to have fun together. We like to have fun with our customers, and we appreciate them greatly,” Stork shared.

Whether you’re searching for a one-of-a-kind treasure, a stylish outfit, or the perfect holiday gift, The Rabbit Hole offers something worth exploring.
