Recap: Kick Off Summer at The Great Louisiana Fair in Bossier City

School is out, summer is here, and The Great Louisiana Fair has returned to Louisiana Downs in Bossier City, bringing nearly three weeks of family fun, entertainment, and excitement. Running through June 14, the fair offers the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and visitors to celebrate the start of summer while creating lasting memories together.
From thrilling carnival rides and classic fair foods to interactive attractions and live entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Beyond the rides, fairgoers can explore the petting zoo, experience parakeet encounters, enjoy the bubble show, cheer on Robinson’s Racing Pigs, watch the action-packed Fearless Flores Thrill Show, and more.
Of course, no fair visit would be complete without enjoying some of the delicious fair food favorites that visitors look forward to year after year. Whether you’re craving sweet treats, savory snacks, or something in between, you’ll find plenty of options to satisfy your appetite while enjoying a day of fun.
The Great Louisiana Fair is open Monday through Friday from 5-11 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-11 p.m., giving guests plenty of opportunities to visit throughout its stay at Louisiana Downs.

Why You Should Visit Before It’s Gone
