Base Culture: Barksdale Servicemembers Tell Us Their Bossier Favorites
Bossier City knows how to throw a good time for their military service and women, as well as their families stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base. Since 1932 when the base was first established, Barksdale residents have been two-steppin’, chowing down on spicy crawfish, and taking long walks along the Red River. We asked a couple of servicemen and spouses about their favorite places are in Bossier City.

Yoga and BBQ
“My husband and I love to go attend yoga at Aspire. Then we like to have a lunch date at Dickey’s BBQ Pit.” – Randee Goodman, military spouse

Gaming at Horseshoe Casino
