Celebrate Valentine’s Your Way In Bossier

It’s a little lame when Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday. Work or school are the next day. Staying out late might be out of the question and worst of all – you could be stuck in any other place besides Bossier Parish. Nothing speaks more to Valentine’s Day than enjoying a meal by candlelight. Barksdale Life offers a special evening centered around romance. The menu includes a couple’s choice of salads and entrees, finished with a chocolate molten lava cake accompanied by vanilla ice cream. The meal is $60 per couple and members receive a $15 discount. L’Italiano is a signature in Bossier City. For over 30 years, the restaurant has been well-known in the downtown area. If you’ve never been, Valentine’s Day is the best time to go and learn the language of love through food. For a quick but tasty meal, Taste China has some of the best Chinese food offered in South Bossier. The fried rice is so fresh and the egg drop soup feeds the soul. Dine in for a cozy and inviting atmosphere or order online and pick it up to bring the romance home.

As a special Valentine’s offer, Flying Heart is taking reservations for a meal for two made up of two classic pizzas (cheese, margherita, pepperoni, or sausage), a bottle of Gerard Bertrand red, white or rosé or four beers and a dessert for $50. (Reserve early because at the door, the price is $65.).


Shane’s Seafood and Barbecue is calling the holiday how they see it. It’s “Singles Appreciation Night” at the Bossier City restaurant. Don’t drown your sorrows of a love lost in fried catfish and hushpuppies, unite in the fact that you haven’t settled. For a free meal, get in line with Kingstowne Family Life Center when they order at 7 p.m. Kingstowne will do a short bible study on being single while waiting for the food. Look at it as a benefit to be single and victorious over Valentine’s Day.

With Louisiana seafood specialties and large rooms for all the family to eat together, this location is great for hosting any size family.
