YOGA 101 for Beginners: 3 Hour Crash Course
Start your year off with a namaste! Learn the basics of yoga without being intimidated by others who are more advanced. This course will cover everything yoga – even the history. Mats are provided. Cost is $45 per student but this also includes an extra single drop-in class to be used toward any class on the schedule.

2020 is the perfect year to explore new hobbies – like tap! Learn the basics in your tennis shoes. No need for tap shoes or experience. If you’ve ever wanted to learn to tap dance be sure to attend this class for a drop-in fee of $5.

Home Products Show
If you are building or renovating your home, attend the 2020 Home Products Show. Each year vendors specializing in home products set up shop to display the best they have to offer along with highlighting trends. Tickets are $7 and $5 for the military.

Ark-La-Tex Antique Festival
Mark your calendar to attend one of the largest antique festivals in Northwest Louisiana. Shop through hundreds of booths with vendors from more than 15 states. Tickets are $6 for the whole weekend. Purchase advance tickets for $5.

East Bank Mardi Gras Market
Kick off the Mardi Gras season in the East Bank District. Enjoy a day of activities honoring the revelry set to come! Shop local vendors at the market and hear live music. East Bank restaurants and food trucks will be open and have food for sale. And at 6 p.m. be sure to catch the Cajun-style Mardi Gras Golf Cart Parade.

Walking Tour of “Old Downtown Bossier”/ East Bank District
Learn the history of the East Bank District by walking the 500 and 600 blocks of Barksdale Boulevard. This tour will cover some of the facts and milestones that happened in Downtown Bossier. This tour is free and pre-registration is not required. Meet at the Bossier Arts Council and be sure to wear comfy shoes.

Bossier Chamber Annual Gala
Don’t miss the largest networking event in Bossier City. Join the Bossier Chamber of Commerce and other businesses in and around Bossier to highlight the top business of the year and the business person of the year. Woofstock A Mewsic Festival Jazz Brunch
Brunch with some of the best from the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux as they celebrate their royalty with a special feast. This year’s theme is Woofstock A Mewsic Festival. Member tickets are $50 and non-members are $55. Brunch served at 1 p.m. and the tableau will be read at 2 p.m.

Animals in Winter
Take a journey through the Red River Wildlife Refuge to learn about wild animals and how they survive the winter. The short trail will lead to the campfire where s’more will be provided to members. Non-members can sign up during this event.
