Don’t go green with envy by missing these March events in Bossier

Spring is right around the corner and the warmer weather means Bossier Parish has a slew of events for you this March. From big time concerts to student art shows, there is no lack of entertainment across the parish.

Bossier Parish Student Art Show

The Bossier Parish Student Art Show is a culmination of the artwork created by Bossier Schools and Bossier Talented Arts Program Students between Grades K-12 with both students and teachers receiving awards and gifts. The artwork is on display now to March 26.

When: 6-8 p.m. through March 26.

Tails & Ales

Tails & Ales: A Celebration of Impact honors and recognizes all the companies and donors who partnered make 2023 a success. The event shares our fundraising and impact results from the previous year and recognizes those whose support made it possible. The event includes a seafood boil, including shrimp and crawfish, beer from The Seventh Tap and Great Raft Brewery. Live entertainment includes Professor Porkchop and the Dirty Dishes, cornhole, and raffle prizes.

When: 5:30-8:30 p.m. on March 7

Whiskey Myers 2024 Tour

Southern rock, country and a touch of blues all rolled into one. Whiskey Myers is headed to Bossier City with special guests Red Clay Strays and Reid Haughton.

Bossier City Gun & Knife Show
Bring your gun and trade for the gun you always wanted at the Bossier City Gun Show. See the hundreds of displays of new and old guns, ammo, gun parts, books, knives, jewelry, camouflage, militaria and related items at discounted prices. Attendees under 18 need a parent!

When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 9, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 10

National Collegiate Wrestling Association Championships

Athletes from across the country will be at the Brookshire Grocery Arena competing for a championship. The event will kick off with registration, alongside the NCWA High School “Recruit-Me” Combine, on March 13th. Preceding this, the nine qualifying Conference Tournaments are slated for the weekend of March 2nd, spanning across the entire expanse of the nation, including Puerto Rico.

Winter Jam ’24

Winter Jam, Christian music’s largest annual tour, is coming back to Bossier City with Crowder, Lecrae, Cain, Katy Nichole & more ready to take the stage. And tickets are only $15 at the door.

Lynyrd Skynyrd & ZZ Top: The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour

The titans of American classic rock Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top are stopping in Bossier City. With a catalog of over 60 albums, billions of streams, and tens of millions of records sold, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd remain a cultural icon that appeal to all generations. While ZZ are no slouches having sold hundreds of millions of records over the course of their career, have been officially designated as Heroes of The State of Texas, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

USTA 70 & Over Multi State Invitational Tournament

Tennis players aged 70 & older from all over the state and teams from Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas have signed up to play in this fun invitational tournament at the Bossier Tennis Center at the North Bossier Park.
