When the mornings are crazy and you’re trying to tackle your to-do list, or when you want to sit down and enjoy a warm freshly brewed drink, coffee is always a good answer. Why go to a big chain to enjoy delicious teas, treats, and coffee when several locally-owned businesses are serving deliciousness right here in Bossier?
SoBo Cold Brew – Pierre Bossier Mall
SoBo Cold Brew began as a Bossier City Farmers Market booth in July of 2022 and now provides quality caffeinated concoctions from their storefront location inside Pierre Bossier Mall.
“We [Leslie and Taylor Brown] started it as a hobby and it went great so we decided to do it as a brick-and-mortar store,” owner Leslie Salley said. “We opened in the Pierre Bossier Mall one year ago in August 2023. At the end of this year, we plan to make a big move to South Bossier!”
This is great news for SoBo Cold Brew fans living in South Bossier because now you’ll be even closer to the action.
If you’re looking for a sweet treat, SoBo is the place to go. In addition to the usual latte, they offer Italian cream sodas that you can add boba beads to and iced or hot teas like their peach tea made with fresh peaches. They even offer freshly baked cookies. Not sure what you want to get? Try owner Leslie Salley’s favorite drink – a caramel iced latte with chocolate cold foam.

Outside their usual menu, they are currently offering seasonal drinks like the Bananas Foster cold brew cream or their s’mores velvet ice. They also have a “Fall Flight” option that allows customers to try all of their fall flavors at once. If you’re hungry, you can grab a bagel or croissant to-go or sit down and enjoy a tasty cinnamon roll or New Orleans-style beignets.

B & T Coffee – 2091 Stockwell Road
Brian Burress, The “B” in B & T Coffee, noticed Bossier City needed an independently owned coffee shop, so he decided to open his place right off the interstate on Stockwell Road. Here you can find this family-owned coffee shop serving delicious coffee, lotus teas, pour-over coffee, pastries, and flatbreads.
B & T uses fun and creative names for their specialty drinks and coffees like the “Grandma’s House,” a butterscotch and caramel flavored drink, or the “Dancing Queen,” a blackberry and white mocha with raspberry cold foam.
When asked for his favorite drink choice, Brian Burress said, “It’s very hard to pick just one. However, one of my favorites is the ‘AS IF.’ It’s a white mocha with a Belgian cookie topped with a red velvet cold foam.”
If you need a place to meet up with friends or get some work done, they provide wifi and have a few bar-top tables as well as regular table seating. B & T Coffee truly puts extra care and creativity into their coffee and they always have room for you on their orange sofa!
Coffee on the Red – 100 Greenacres Boulevard
Coffee on the Red is located in North Bossier and is owned by Nelson Lewis and Andrew Lewis. Throughout the year they have their signature staples made with coffee beans that are brewed within weeks of being roasted to ensure customers are provided with excellent tasting drinks that are top quality.
In addition to their regular, delicious menu items, they offer seasonal-themed drinks. Right now they are offering their fall menu with items like pumpkin spice cold brew or pumpkin chai tea. They are also serving up pumpkin scones and pumpkin cream cheese cookies.
All of their menu items are easy to grab and go but if you have the time to sit and enjoy, they offer ample seating inside. If you want to get together with your book club or close that business deal, Coffee on the Red also has meeting rooms available.
