Bossier City Dirt Cheap Grand Opening

Retail store Dirt Cheap will make its mark on Bossier beginning this month with a grand opening celebration. Save 30 to 90 percent off brand name products by shopping home goods, decor and other items. The first 200 people will get a free t-shirt. Customers can also sign up for email alerts to know when new products are added to the inventory.

Military families can delight during an entire night dedicated to family fun and support. KidFest is free and open to military families and children. Bring your family out to enjoy a petting zoo, games, a dunk tank, bounce houses, food and other fun experiences. Volunteers from local groups and organizations will be there to ensure your child has an enjoyable experience. Don’t miss this annual event!

Bossier City Farmers Market Opening Day

You can help welcome the farmers market back during opening day at Pierre Bossier Mall. You can meet and shop over 100 vendors with unique finds, sweet and savory treats and even handmade items. This event is perfect for a family outing in Bossier City or just for fun.

Neil Simon’s “Rumors”

This hilarious play written by Neil Simon takes the audience through the tale of a deputy mayor who just shot himself. Four couples navigate through the miscommunications and confusions of the experience. Laugh out loud as the BPCC Theatre Program and Cavalier Players host “Rumors.”

When: April 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 at 7:30 p.m. and April 15 and 22 at 2:00 p.m.

“Children’s Letters to God”

Five young children reveal their beliefs, ambitions, worries and common questions in the show, “Children’s Letters to God.” The show is hosted by the Bossier Talented Arts Program. Four performances at the East Bank Theatre will address questions about life in this compelling tale. Purchase your tickets now.

Ark-La-Tex Ragin’ Cajun Crawfish Boil

Callin’ all Cajuns! It’s time to show your support through food and fun as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Association hosts a crawfish boil. Strengthen the ties of loyalty to your Alma Mater and enjoy fresh crawfish. The event is free, but the crawfish are available for purchase.

River Valley ZUMBAthon!

Support the children’s ministry with a special fitness event at River Valley Church. For two hours, participate in Zumba by BodyJam Zumba with Danise. Invite the whole family, but be sure to keep it moving. If weather permits, the event will be outside. Zumba is an inspiring combination of fun and fitness.

Dancing for the Cure

Attend the annual Susan G. Komen fundraising event where you can see local celebrities dance to compete for the coveted mirror ball trophy. Support the local media stars and watch as they entertain crowds to raise awareness for breast cancer. Vote for your People’s Choice Award winner on their website. Tickets are $25 for an individual patron or $500 for a VIP table of 8.

Foo Fighters: Concrete and Gold Tour

Tickets are going fast for the Foo Fighters concert set for this month. National rockstars the Foo Fighters will rock the CenturyLink Center. With signature songs like “The Best of You,” “Learn to Fly” and “This is a Call,” you can anticipate an incredible night to rock in Bossier City. This concert also features The Struts, another great band that’s sure to bring even more energy and excitement.

Diamond Rio Live

It’s time to head out to The Stage for the start of a spring season filled with country music. Diamond Rio, known as a modern country band with a bit of bluegrass and a hint of rock ‘n’ roll, will perform for fans in Bossier City. The band’s songs performed in harmony will make it difficult not to sing along.
